Field guide
How Gather works
Gather launches coins on Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve and graduates them to DAMM v2 pools. This page states the intended rules and which ones are still unverified.
1 · Launch
1B fixed supply, paired with SOL, opening near $4,000. Optional creator first buy up to 5 SOL in the same transaction. Tickers are held for 24h.
2 · Bonding curve
Fee opens at 50% and falls to the creator's 1–3% over 10s. Meteora takes 20% of fees; the creator gets 25% and Gather 75% of the rest.
3 · Graduation
At a fixed SOL threshold (≥ 10 SOL, near $42,000), liquidity moves to DAMM v2 with 100% of LP locked forever. The fee steps down to 0.3% as price rises.
Verification status
| Rule | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed 1B supply, no further minting | Test on devnet | DBC supports fixed supply and an immutable token-authority option. Must confirm mint authority is revoked on the created mint. |
| Protocol fee 20% of bonding-curve fee | Per docs | Stated in Meteora DBC docs. Referral hosts can take up to 20% of the protocol share. |
| Creator 25 / Gather 75 of remaining 80% | Per docs | Configured with creatorTradingFeePercentage = 25. Exact rounding to be confirmed on devnet. |
| Per-trade liquidity reinvestment before graduation | Not supported | DBC has no native reinvestment during the curve. You chose the native split; reinvestment starts only after graduation. Doing it per trade before graduation would need a custom program. |
| Anti-bot fee 50% → creator rate over ~10s | Test on devnet | DBC fee time scheduler (linear). Max allowed starting fee must be confirmed against the deployed program. |
| Post-graduation price-step fee to 0.3% floor | Test on devnet | DAMM v2 market-cap fee scheduler (linear). Behavior when price falls, and compatibility with compounding mode, must be tested. |
| Post-graduation compounding into LP | Test on devnet | Docs describe a compounding fee mode for DAMM v2 graduated pools. Share that compounds vs. remains claimable must be measured. |
| 100% of LP permanently locked | Test on devnet | Meets the ≥10% day-1 lock requirement. Locked LP still earns claimable fees. |
| Atomic launch + creator initial buy (≤5 SOL) | Test on devnet | SDK offers pool creation with first buy. Must confirm single-transaction atomicity and size limits. |
| Graduation at fixed SOL threshold | Per docs | Migration triggers on migration_quote_threshold in SOL. Meteora auto-migrator requires ≥10 SOL and runs on mainnet only; devnet uses manual migration. |
Who pays what
- Launch rent (≈ 0.02–0.05 SOL): Creator
- Migration transaction: Gather
- USD figures are approximate; all thresholds are fixed in SOL.

Risks
- Coins launched here are highly speculative. Most lose most or all of their value.
- Anyone can launch a coin. Gather does not vet creators or endorse any coin.
- Transactions on Solana are final. Gather cannot reverse trades or recover lost funds.
- Smart contracts belong to Meteora and may contain bugs. Fee schedules can behave unexpectedly.
- Prices are volatile and USD values shown are estimates based on SOL's price.
- Never share your seed phrase. Gather will never ask for it.
